Giving Kisses

I am exactly four weeks away from graduation.  I can't believe how far I've come and yet I also can't believe how much work I have to do between now and May 18th.  One paper, two exams, and countless administrative details are standing between me and my diploma.  It took me four years to get to this point - 1 year preparing for, and applying to law school, plus 3 years of actual law school - and here I am with only four WEEKS to go.  This weekend I will read my last law school case EVER.  And on Wednesday I will attend my last law school class.  I'm not sad about this at all (afterall I still have to get through Barbri and the Bar exam).  I'm just proud.  Proud that I made it this far and proud that I'm finishing the hardest thing I've ever done.

Now, onto the reason why you checked the blog today...

Leah has started giving kisses on demand.  This has got to be the BEST THING EVER!!!!!  I'll lean over and say, "give Mommy a kiss," and she'll smile and lean over to me and plant a big, open-mouthed kiss on my cheek.  She does it with Daddy too.  She is just the best.

With her new crawling skills, she's also discovered the quickest way to get picked up and cuddled - just start crawling over to wherever Mommy is and about half-way there look up and smile.  She's in my arms in less than 2 seconds.

We love her so much!

"Talking" non-stop ... as usual.

Daddy's (and Mommy's) girl.

Her hair is out of control.

  1. We are very proud of your hard work, too; and we can hardly wait to get OUR Leah kisses in a few weeks, too!

  2. Looks like her Mommy's hair; now don't let anyone cut it behind your back.
Lil' Yoda is the best ever.....the best of all of us.....so fresh, full of life and laughter for all,(plus a gift of gab).
I think I got a graduation invitation in the mail but I'm only going to open it when I talk to the one graduating. Proud doesn't say it all; you are now a four marshmello woman, whom we all love and can't wait to see, hug and blow kisses. Can't wait to maybe get a kiss from my grandbaby, Peanut, or has she become a southern Pecan. gma
