Last weekend, I sat Leah down on the floor behind me for about 20 seconds while I put some laundry in the dryer. What I heard next made me laugh so hard. I had to grab the video camera to document her discovery.
I enjoyed it so much, that I didn't even notice her drooling until I watched the video. My favorite parts are when she does it so hard that she startles herself. Curious little Peanut.
I love how serious she is about the whole thing. Also, if you are keeping track, my child does in fact spend most of her time at home shirt-less.
ReplyDeleteA very intense and curious little girl, indeed!
ReplyDeleteI am wondering if we can predict the future from watching Leah at play. My first thought was that she has now learned the scientific theorem that for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. Or maybe she will be a scientist in quantum mechanics, writing essays for scientific journals on the motion of subatomic particles when agitated by a human hand and a few drops of drool. But if you look closely, her hand motions are similar to a rock and roll star strumming a red hot Fender electric guitar. American Idol, look out!! granda
ReplyDeletePeanut (more of a Pecan, southern, you know)is ambidexterous as well as curious, and of course, beautiful and so precious a star of your video; it was fun hearing Dad's reaction and how she reacted to your attention to her latest feat. gma
ReplyDeleteWhoo hoo! What a find, peanut! You now can make that delightful "boi-i-ing" sound whenever you want. Up next, pots and pans, then drums!
