Unfortunately, Leah is pretty ticked at me right now for all of the errand-running. In the car seat, out of the car seat, in the stroller, out of the stroller, in the shopping cart, out of the shopping cart. How much can one cute little girl take? Well, a lot. But here's what's going through Leah's mind - all the other cool things she could be doing besides running errands with me....
Hanging out in my underwear.
| "Does this diaper make me look fat?" |
Toppling my tree toy. It used to tower over me, but now I turn it upside down and press all the buttons.
Listening to Granda's new CD. (Seriously, when we turned it on, she immediately crawled all the way across the room, sat in front of the speaker, and calmly stared at it - just like this. I had to get a picture of it.)
| "I dig Irish music." |
Giving Daddy the cold shoulder with my froggy pal. Or did we both spot something on the bed that we'd like to eat?
Letting Mommy give me a manicure.
Searching for the "big people."
Chasing after the big people with unstoppable focus and determination once I find them.
Digging through the back and bottom of my toy basket to find something that I forgot I had. I'm kind of bored with all of my toys these days, and could use some seriously refreshing entertainment. It's so bad, my favorite toy is an empty water bottle. Agh!
Pretending to be interested in this little rattle so the big people don't aspirate me.
Climbing all over my toys. The sooner I build up my leg strength, the sooner I can break free from this joint.
Kissing the one who grew me. Thanks for all of those Sausage Egg McMuffins in there. When can I get my baby hands on one of those out here?
Just hanging out with my mom on her study breaks, showing off my new outfit.
Helping with the dishes.
Chasing after the camera!
Leah, you are quite the busy girl! Can't wait to see you next week!
ReplyDeleteLeah, I am sure you are able to read this on your own by now, but in case you can't get up to the computer screen, have your Dad or Mom read it to you. I too am rather fond of Irish music, and I can't wait until you are one year old, and you and I can go to the local pub for your first Guinness!! And belt out the chorus of "Roisin the Beau." Granda
ReplyDeleteThe apple does not fall far from the tree. BA was not so fond of running all of the Aarons, either. Leah is far too busy to be running these Aarons with you! Can't wait to see her next week-end!
ReplyDeletePreziosa, molto preziosa, la nina, Leah! The way you were sit'g while topl'g the tree is very GrGrampsish, as well as the redish hair. With all her new tricks, I can barely wait to see her and hold her (Leah permit'g) next week. gma
