Peanut's Post: Thank you Nana

My Nana left us today.  We are all very sad about this.  My Nana has been with us since Mommy went back to school.  She has held me, and fed me, changed me, and played with me, everyday for the past 4 weeks and I am going to miss her terribly.  Nana made it so much easier for Mommy to go back to school without worrying about me during the day.  But now, I am old enough to start daycare and Nana needs to get back to South Carolina to take care of Papa and make sure he eats something other than Capt'n D's every night.

Nana kept me fresh and clean.

Here I'm showing Nana my imitation of an Italian cab driver.

But snuggling was my all time favorite thing to do with Nana.

Thank you Nana for all your help over these past 4 weeks. We appreciate it and are forever grateful.

  1. Aw, you can tell she really loves Nana because she's snuggling peacefully without the pacifier. And I'm thrilled to see that she has perfected the Italian hand gesture already.

  2. Nana, you have been such an angel to help AA and BA take care of the little one. And I add my thanks to that too, as I am too far away to provide the care that you did. I am, however, jealous of all the hugs and kisses you must have received and given to LA. Lucky girl you are!

  3. Nana enjoyed every minute spent with the precious little Peanut. She enjoyed the smiles, kisses, big, bright eyes looking up at you, and echoes of ooohs. Those were priceless! It has been an honor and privilege to spend so much quality time with my sweet little granddaughter.

Thank you for your comments. I love reading them. For those of you who know us personally, please use "AA" and "BA" in place of our names. Thank you!
